Student Voices Team

Susan McLaughlin-Jones started a program at Lafayette High School with 3 of Trinity Gay's friends, Te'Osha Raglin, Shermane Cowans, and Shana Berryman, in hopes to bring more awareness about gun violence. The project started as a way for these girls to voice their feeling and how this epidemic among the youth affected them. The students hope for improved school and community responses. They are suggesting that four to five teachers at each school be trained to respond to school crises. The Student Voices Team have spoken at 8 different venues including a national conference in Colorado and at the State Capitol. If interested, contact us for any speaking engagements.
